Website development for the Semarah Hotels group, including an online booking system, gift card purchases and special offers for Grand Poet and Lielupe hotels.
Semarah Hotels brings together two hotels — Grand Poet Hotel in the centre of Riga and Lielupe SPA Hotel in Jūrmala — in a single brand experience. The website is designed to reflect the identity of a premium hotel group, while giving visitors a clear path to booking, an offer, or a service at a specific hotel.
At the heart of the site is a room booking system where visitors can choose a hotel, arrival and departure dates, the number of adults and children, and enter a promo code. The calendar shows current prices for each day, helping guests decide without additional inquiries. This kind of direct price and availability visibility is essential for conversion in the hospitality industry.
In addition to bookings, the site integrates a gift card system — visitors can purchase an e-gift card or a physical gift card with delivery, choosing between a Grand Poet, Lielupe, or a universal Semarah Hotels gift card. The functionality covers entering an amount, choosing a delivery address, and adding multiple gift cards to a single order.
The special offers section is structured by hotel and season — spa and wellness packages, corporate event solutions, seasonal promotions — each offer with its own image, title, and price. The blog publishes current news and events from both hotels, with the option to filter content by specific hotel (Semarah Hotels, Grand Poet Hotel, Lielupe).
The site is available in several languages (with a language switcher in the header), which extends its reach to international guests — essential in the premium tourism segment, where a large share of guests come from outside Latvia.
The online platform for insurer Balcia: 10+ product calculators with instant pricing, a subscription model, online claims filing, and two languages.
