The official Volkswagen Latvia website on the global Adobe Experience Manager platform: the Volkswagen model range, electric and hybrid vehicles, local campaigns, test drive and price inquiries, and integration with vehicle inventory, leasing, and the dealer network in two languages.
Volkswagen is one of the largest automakers in the world, and its corporate website is a global platform with a unified design and technical standard across all markets. volkswagen.lv — the official Volkswagen Latvia website — runs on this shared foundation, where the global brand framework meets the local market: prices in euros, current promotions, government support programmes for buying electric vehicles, and inquiries that need to reach the right Volkswagen representative in Latvia. The main task in this project is not to “redo” the global platform, but to populate it correctly with local content so the site works for real requests from Latvian buyers.
At the heart of the site is the Volkswagen model range. A visitor looking for a new Volkswagen finds the full current model line-up — Tiguan, Tayron, T-Roc, Crafter — as well as the complete ID. electric family: ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID. Buzz, the new ID. Polo, and ID. Cross. Each model has its own page with a description, technical data, and a call to the next step — configuring, a price quote, or a test drive. This model structure is also the foundation of its SEO: people search for a specific Volkswagen model, and the site needs to answer that exact query.
A large part of the work is local campaigns. Volkswagen Latvia constantly runs offers — a special Crafter inventory offer, financing promotions for the Tiguan, Tayron, and T-Roc, an anniversary offer, and the EKII support programme for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Each campaign is a new page or banner that has to be assembled from the global platform’s components so it looks like Volkswagen while speaking to the Latvian buyer with a specific price and terms. Both precision (legal terms, WLTP data, support disclaimers) and speed matter here, since automotive market campaigns change almost every month.
A separate and essential layer of the project is the inquiry flow. A test drive, a price quote, a trade-in, a service booking, an EKII support application — all forms lead into the volkswagenbaltic.eu environment, from which the data reaches the right Volkswagen representative. The public site has one clear job here: move a potential customer from interest in a model to a completed form with no friction. Every extra step along this path means a lost inquiry, so the conversion path is built to be as simple as possible.
The site is closely connected to external systems that aren’t part of the page itself but form a single experience for the user. The Volkswagen vehicle inventory (stock.volkswagenbaltic.eu) lets visitors view specific available cars, the Volkswagen leasing calculator (leasing.volkswagenbaltic.eu) calculates the monthly payment, and the dealer map helps find the nearest showroom or service centre by location. For the user, it’s one smooth path from choosing a model to financing and a representative; behind the scenes — several separate services that have to be kept in sync.
Beyond models and sales, the site also has an extensive service and ownership section: maintenance and spare parts, accessories, warranty, connectivity services (VW Connect, Car-Net, App-Connect, We Charge), and a myVolkswagen account. This part speaks to existing Volkswagen owners and keeps the connection with the brand after the purchase. All content is available in two languages — Latvian and Russian — to match the Baltic audience, and the site is built within the global brand’s technical and visual standard, preserving Volkswagen’s recognisability.
The online platform for insurer Balcia: 10+ product calculators with instant pricing, a subscription model, online claims filing, and two languages.
