Website development for the Latvian Chefs' Club: a multilingual site for a professional culinary association featuring competitions (Bocuse d'Or Latvia, Latvia's Chef of the Year, Baltic Taste Awards) and news presentation, optimised for gastronomy-related search queries.
The Latvian Chefs’ Club (Pavāru klubs) is the longest-running and leading chefs’ association in Latvia, uniting industry professionals — chefs, entrepreneurs, students and educational institutions — and is a member of Worldchefs, the international chefs’ association. The club’s goal is to raise the profile of Latvian gastronomy and help it break into Europe’s top 10. As an industry authority running a wide range of events, the association needed a clear, modern, search-engine-optimised website that combines the organisation’s presentation, news, and communication for several prestigious culinary competitions.
As part of the project, we built a website with a well-thought-out content structure that serves as the central information hub for Latvia’s culinary community. The site clearly presents the association’s activities and values, along with dedicated sections for the club’s most important competitions — “Latvia’s Chef of the Year,” “Latvia’s Restaurant Pastry Chef of the Year,” the international Bocuse d’Or Latvia selection, the Baltic Taste Awards, and the Zero Waste Challenge sustainability competition.
An important element of the website is a regularly updated news section that showcases the achievements of Latvian chefs at local and international events, including Bocuse d’Or, Riga Food, and the Worldchefs Global Chef Challenge. The site was built in multiple languages (LV/EN) to support the association’s international communication, and is optimised for search terms related to the chefs’ association, culinary competitions, and gastronomy in Latvia.
