The WordPress website with a custom theme for lighting and electrical engineering company Lucidus: a product catalogue, a project gallery, a news feed, and a connection to a separate online store.
Lucidus is a company with more than ten years of experience in lighting equipment, electrical installations, and solar energy solutions. It’s not an ordinary retailer — Lucidus both supplies products and delivers serious infrastructure projects, from sports club interiors to airport apron lighting. The site’s task is to serve both sides: buyers looking for a specific product, and clients evaluating the company for a large project.
That’s why the site is built around two axes — products and projects. Product groups — lighting, solar energy, SMART solutions, electrical installations, and switchboards — are organized into a clear catalogue that leads customers to a specific category. Actual sales happen in a separate online store on a subdomain, while the main site handles presentation and building trust.
The project gallery is the site’s strongest part. In B2B, where it’s about large orders and tenders, a portfolio of completed projects is a more convincing argument than any text. That’s why the gallery and news feed with specific projects — RIX airport apron lighting, sports club interiors, public stages — are put together to show the company’s scale and experience.
The technical foundation is WordPress with a custom theme that lets the company maintain the catalogue, project gallery, and news all in one place. There’s also an ISO certificate section, a newsletter sign-up, and links to the company’s social media and YouTube channel, where completed projects are showcased.
The site serves as the company’s central presentation, from which customers, depending on their needs, move either to the online store or to contact for a large project.
