INCATE delivered the complete frontend development of the GIVEN.LV online store, implementing a new design on the existing OpenCart platform. The project also included a UX/UI audit, UX/UI design for selected e-commerce sections, performance and Core Web Vitals optimization, a technical SEO audit and implementation of the identified improvements.
GIVEN is one of the largest jewellery and watch retailers in the Baltics, with an extensive network of physical stores and an online store featuring more than 15,000 products. With a large product catalogue, multiple categories, filters, brand pages, promotional mechanics and other e-commerce functionality, implementing a new design was not only a visual task but also a technically complex frontend development project.
INCATE’s primary responsibility was the frontend development of the GIVEN.LV online store and implementation of the new design on the existing OpenCart platform.
During development, we ensured that the new user interface worked correctly with the existing product catalogue, filters, shopping cart, checkout and other e-commerce functionality across different devices and screen sizes.
Alongside frontend development, INCATE carried out a UX/UI audit to evaluate the user experience, navigation, content hierarchy and interface elements throughout the online store.
Where the existing design required improvement, INCATE also created UX/UI designs for selected sections of the e-commerce platform and implemented them in the frontend.
Our role therefore went beyond technically implementing an existing design. During the project, we also improved individual user flows, interface elements and design solutions to create a clearer and more consistent shopping experience.
Performance was another important part of the GIVEN.LV project. INCATE conducted a technical audit covering PageSpeed, Core Web Vitals, server response time and frontend resource loading.
The audit identified elements affecting website performance, including CSS and JavaScript resources, image loading and other frontend performance factors.
Based on these findings, we implemented frontend improvements designed to reduce unnecessary load and improve the shopping experience on both mobile and desktop devices.
INCATE also performed a technical SEO audit of the e-commerce platform and implemented improvements based on the identified issues.
We reviewed the website’s technical structure, heading hierarchy, metadata and other elements affecting technical SEO.
Accessibility and interface issues were also reviewed, including contrast, focus states and other usability-related elements.
GIVEN.LV is an active, high-volume online store, which meant that an important requirement throughout the project was to implement changes without disrupting the sales process.
Frontend development and technical optimizations were introduced progressively, with key e-commerce flows tested throughout the process – including product browsing, filters, shopping cart, checkout and other business-critical functionality.
Laravel e-commerce development for Saku Läte / VENDEN covered the complete process from wireframing and UX/UI testing with real users to design, development and launch. INCATE built a custom B2C and B2B solution with payment and delivery integrations, customer accounts, cart and checkout functionality, a product selection quiz, and two-way Navision integration.

INCATE developed two digital campaign websites with different goals and user journeys — The Happening photography competition and the Neredzi? Neapdzen! road safety campaign. Each digital experience was tailored to the campaign's specific content, visual identity and desired user actions.
