FAQ

How much does a business website cost?

For fixed-price projects, we normally work with 50% upfront and 50% after project completion and acceptance. For Time & Materials projects, we estimate each task before starting and invoice completed work or actual hours at the end of the month. INCATE’s hourly rate is €50/hour + VAT.

We begin by analysing your business processes and requirements, then create the system structure and an interactive prototype in Figma. We test and refine the prototype before development starts. Larger systems can be divided into phases, allowing development of approved modules to run in parallel with UX/UI work on the next phase.

We start with a kick-off meeting, requirements analysis and competitor research. Next, we create the design concept, UX/UI and, where needed, a clickable prototype that can be tested with users. Once the design is approved, we move into development and testing. After your final review, we launch the website and hand over all required access.

Start by defining what you’re selling, who you’re selling to and where. Will your store be B2C, B2B or both? Do you need individual pricing, customer group or volume discounts? We also define countries, languages, currencies, VAT rules, payment and delivery methods, as well as any ERP, warehouse, CRM or other integrations.

The most important thing is to understand what you want your website to achieve — present your company, promote services, generate leads or provide specific functionality. It helps to know your target audience, key pages and required languages. Consider whether you need features such as a calculator, booking calendar, enquiry forms or integrations. If you don’t have the full structure yet, we’ll help you define it.
